Training Club

Training Club is a series of follow on group courses to practice and progress your dog training. Available to anyone who has graduated either our Puppy School Foundation or Adolescent School Foundation courses.

Comprising 18 weeks of unique content divided into three 6 week blocks. You can join Training Club at the beginning of any 6 week module and each 6 weeks can be taken as an individual course or continued on an ongoing basis.

Each course will build and progress on the foundations and training learned so far as well as introducing new and more advanced training skills and games.

This group class (maximum 8 dogs and families) covers more training and development of our basics (positions, recalls, lead walking), tricks and skills, obstacle courses, scent games and much more.

This course is held at our private, full time training venue on a farm to the south of Exeter Airport. We have a large indoor training barn as well as a large outdoor, secure training field.

•      Time for individual questions and support as well as group coaching.

Areas covered on this course are:

FUNdamental Postures & Positions – Practicing basics such as sit, down and stay is a great way to polish your and your dog’s training skills. This also sets up for learning and training more advanced skills.

Tricks and Skills – Fun games to play with your dog, cool tricks to show off to your friends! Strengthening your relationship with your dog and making training time fun for you both!

Recall – Games and drills to practice your recall. Working with distractions!

Loose Lead Walking – Throughout these courses you will be working on developing perfect lead work!

Impulse Control – Lots of exercises and games to develop impulse control around food, toys and distractions.

Distance Control – Skills and drills to develop teamwork and relationship with your dog at distance. 

Training Mechanics – Develop your knowledge and skill as a “trainer”.

Search Games – The dog’s nose knows! Building on foundations to practice searches, tracking, article indication, retrievals and more!

Obstacle Courses – Interactive adventure courses using and practicing all our skills! Scent work, send arounds, tunnels, ladders and bridges! Learning to use and explore the environment for an exciting challenge.

*If you miss a class, there are notes sent out for each class . We also offer the option of a ½price 121 session to catch up. This is £30 (normal price £60)
